We love this patriotic shirt! This Cactus "America IV" design highlights the American flag and the famous military fife and drum players. A fife is a small flute that has a loud and shrill tone which some say could be heard up to three miles on the battlefield. The fife and drum players were responsible for conveying orders or combat signals in battle making them a very important (although little known) component of the American military.
