Almost every web site in the world has an "About Us" section. I guess I should have one too.
- I'm left handed.
- Years ago I graduated, with Honors, from the American Banker's Association National Graduate Trust School held at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. I held Vice President positions in several publicly held financial institutions in downtown Milwaukee. Yes, I wore power suits with little bow ties.
- I started my career at the same time "women's lib" became popular and thought it was a big deal when the dress code was changed to allow women to wear pant suits at work.
- I'm married and have the best husband in the world.
- I grew up on a farm and learned how to drive a dump truck and tractor.
- Although some people would argue, I consider myself quite the athlete: A few years ago I learned to play Bridge. Tennis has tournaments and so does Bridge so in my opinion Bridge is a sport.
- It's easier for me to master the Starbuck's language than to tell you the difference between a gigabyte, megabyte, a gigahertz or a giga-whatever.
- It is true I shopped in a single store for four hours.
This is what I like to do when I leave my computer at home. (mouseover photo to see larger)
Ok, it's time to go shopping. I don't want to distract you any further, but check out our Chic Chat, Favorite Books, and Wisconsin pages AFTER you check out!
